About South Haven
Farm
South Haven Farm (SHF) is an Elite
Show Jumping Barn equipped with top
trainers, riders, and horse care
professionals. Established in 2015,
South Haven Farm was designed and
built from the ground up by Courtney
and Scott Lenkart. Starting with an
undeveloped property, Courtney and
Scott used their years of experience
working in other facilities to
design their own top level facility.
Built in 2016, SHF’s facility
includes a European hot walker, a
treadmill, an outdoor and covered
arena, as well large, grass filled
paddocks. SHF provides exceptional
horse care through experienced
veterinarians, farriers, and horse
care professionals. In addition,
South Haven Farm is able to proudly
produce quality and suitable show
horses by utilizing their vast
network both in the United States
and overseas. This premiere program
is small by design, enabling the
trainers to focus exclusively on
Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation
disciplines. As a team, Courtney and
Scott coach a limited number of
riders, which allows them to offer
each competitor personalized
instruction to help them achieve
their goals, all while competing at
the highest level of their sport.
With a combination of over 50 years
of training and competing, Courtney
and Scott have made themselves
regulars in the winner’s circle. The
members of South Haven Farm pride
themselves in helping beginning
riders advance to the highest levels
in the Hunter, Jumper, and
Equitation divisions. Courtney and
Scott have trained SHF riders to top
placings at Indoors and USEF Pony
Finals; and have led riders to
compete at prestigious events like
the USHJA International Derby
Finals, NAYC, and top Equitation
finals. Numerous SHF riders have
also been awarded WCHR Regional and
National Grand Champion in divisions
ranging from the Pony Hunters to the
Amateur-Owner Hunters.
